The Richland Community Prayer Network coordinated the 2013 local observance of the National Day of Prayer at the Central Park Gazebo in downtown Mansfield on May 2nd. This countywide gathering included intercessory prayer for our nation and its leaders, the public acknowledgement of Divine Providence in the public square, a short word from the Scriptures by our guest speaker, and a time of worship in music by a group of local artists from several area churches. The student choir “Image” from Mansfield Christian, and WVMC station manager Scott Saunders also participated.
