On May 7th, the Richland County faithful, including government officials met in downtown Mansfield to pray for this nation, our community and our families. This community-wide, non-denominational assembly is sponsored by the Richland County Community Prayer Network.
We enjoyed worship, prayer and a special guest speaker, Eeki Elner, founder of the Israeli Leadership Institute. A resident of Sderot, Israel, his community rests ½ mile from the Gaza border. He reminded us that there is a battle for our souls and it is only through seeking God first, as our founders had done, that we may win that battle.
